Introducing Northern Canada
The Northern world is still wild and pristine.
An abundance of wildlife flourishes, with caribou, polar bears, musk ox, and seals. The landscape is incredibly harsh: barren, treeless, frozen tundra dominates most of the year, with sub-arctic forests, glaciers, icy lakes and rivers. At the height of the brief summer the midnight sun provides 24 hour days while the Aurora Borealis illuminates dark winters with ribbons of coloured light. Northern Canada covers the Yukon, Northwest Territories, and Nunavut. Populated by First Nations people over 25,000 years ago.
